http://bit.ly/2lmpvyQSo a little under a year ago, at about 3am on a wednesday morning, I happened across some nerds arguing about a game on /v/ called Undertale. I had to be up for work in 5 or so hours, but I had found it odd that this game was so contested and I had never heard of it. It just looked like a cute, silly indie game done in game maker. Nothing earthshattering, but I knew nothing about it.
I dropped $10 on the game and started playing it then and there. I noticed that none of my steam friends seemed to be aware of what this game was, as none of them had even had it on their wish lists. The first thing I noticed, after a flower had berated me, was the ruins music. It reminded me of radiohead for some reason. It was stuck in my head all night. I had to go to bed so I didn't play much of the game, but I was already very much hooked.
I listened to the song on repeat the following day and told my friends about how interesting the game was 15 minutes in. Later that day I played Undertale more and fought Toriel. I just HAD to cover this music.
And the next boss too, the music was fantastic. and the next. and the next. and the next.
Then some stuff happened, and here we are.
