https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HIxu...Edit: Dark Souls 3 is out and they use a version of the piece I covered as the menu theme, so I'm just calling it that. The comments below might be a bit dated since this video is now like 6+ months old
Yo so Dark Souls is my favorite game ever and the recent Bloodborne was incredible, and now there's this new game on the horizon that has a really hype gameplay reveal trailer with incredible backing music. I looked everywhere and translated pages from Japanese and asked everyone I knew, but could not get an answer as to what the name of the piece actually *is*.
There's not really a primary lead or harmony on this track from what I can hear in the trailer, so I just took the opportunity to shred aimlessly like an idiot over it. I'm not 100% positive that I got the arrangement correct in regards to the original, but I think I'm pretty close; I repeat a few parts here and there for the sake of length.
Apparently the DaS1 reveal trailer also had incredible music that never made it into the final game. I really hope this piece makes an appearance in the release, because it's really awesome. If someone could enlighten me to the piece's name I'd love you forever. Until then, be warned once again that THIS IS NOT A GAMEPLAY TRAILER. I'M JUST A FAT NERD THAT PLAYS GUITAR THAT'S ALL MOVE ALONG.
