So, this cover is a weird one for me. Most people who regularly follow my channel know that I usually tend to go for stupid metal stuff with breakdowns and shredding and all that nonsense; not here. I've been thinking about covering Whiterun for like a year now but never really wanted to just mess up up with metal and stuff, so I put if off until this album came up and John requested a cover from Skyrim. I decided to just jump in and attempt what might vaguely resemble a post-rock cover. I think it turned out pretty alright for essentially just being a million guitar tracks layered on top of each other.

CSGuitar89 was interested in taking part of this cover with me, so he worked in his bass magic alongside some more subtle ambient stuff that might not be immediately apparent. Check out his channel here:

Don't worry, I'm not abandoning my normal progressive metal stuff. I just wanted to try something different is all, if this cover gets decent reception I might start doing more post stuff as well.
