In this video Sara Loera throws down hard on Aerosmith's RAG DOLL! Sweet sassafrassy, all the way, a-la Steven Tyler! Enjoy!
Aerosmith - Steven Tyler - Rag Doll - ft Sara Loera - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy
Co-written by Steven Tyler and Canadian songwriter Jim Vallance, “Rag Doll” was originally called “Rag Time” due to the song’s New Orleans feel.
What other commercially successful songs can you think of that also carry that similar New Orleans vibe to the music? Let me know in the comments!
The song’s original title was nixed by Geffen Records’ John Kalodner who thought the rag time reference would have no meaning to kids listening to the tune.
As a result songwriter Holly Knight was flown in from Vancouver for the sole purpose of renaming the song which she successfully did and was given songwriting credits accordingly.
We hope you enjoy Sara’s version of this catchy tune!
