I was never lucky enough to see Metallica live, so this is still something I need to do!
Something REALLY iconic this time! Already featured "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and other classic Metallica riffs in my Metal Top 15 Riff Lists! Many of you suggested "For Whom The Bell Tolls" year by year and it finally got real because of the Patreon Guitar Cover Voting! So as a fun fact I already did a full band cover of this one many years back with the amazing Rocketqueen90, WhiteSlash and Avery Drummer Molek!
I used a guitarless backingtrack which means that EVERY guitar you hear is played by me. Nothing got covered up by the original track. Big Plus!
EXCEPTION: The Whammy Bar Squeals in the end are the original ones and so I dedided to just play the original rhythm track. Double layering sounded pretty weird.
Minus: Some parts of the track just sound weird, I had to do a lot of mixing/mastering haha!
