Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac - Stevie Nicks cover - Sara Loera - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy
Sara Loera is no stranger to taking on a Fleetwood Mac tune and today she takes on their classic: “Rhiannon”.
Originally recorded on their eponymous album in 1975, the tune was written by Stevie Nicks and released as a single the following year.
The song was based off a character from a novel called Triad that tells of a woman who is possessed by another woman named Rhiannon. Nicks also later learned that Rhiannon was a Welsh goddess.
The tune went on to peak at number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was named by Rolling Stone as one of The 500 Greatest Songs Of All Time.
When performing the song, Nicks was known to deliver an impassioned, theatrical performance as the song built to its climax.
We hope you find Sara’s performance to be equally enjoyable and please be sure to share your feedback with us!
