Tuning is E Std
Yet another one for the remake. Saw my first attempt video last weekend and decided that it was time to redo this masterpiece of a song and give it a proper make over. So it was back to the old fretboard, so to speak.
I wanted to make sure I got all the guitar parts in this time round, so I took hold of the isolated tracks and the original recording and started piecing everything together. The tabs out there aren't completely useless, but there are definitely a few mistakes present in those tabs as well as a few missing guitar parts. I also reworked the drums as those midi files was just a horrible mess. I tried a few times getting the intro sounding like that of the Sitar used in the recording, along with all the extra 12 string bass sounds etc, but in the end decided that I'd rather just use the original intro from the recording. I even have a video with my original rendition of the intro, which I'll be uploading to my Patreon for anybody who wants to give that a listen.
Overall I think this came out very good and am happy to have redone this classic piece of music! My fingers are still bleeding from playing those 2 lead parts. I use 11's on my guitar, so tuned to E they're really hard to bend!!
Hope You Guys Enjoy This
Cheers
