Tuning is Std E
And it is (re)done! One of the very first songs I ever heard from Metallica and one that has always been on my favorite songs of all time list, Fade to Black is a musical masterpiece to my ears. Had to redo this one as it was time for an update to the original video I did way back in the beginning stages of my cover videos.
Although not a difficult song to play, there are a few bits that really tests out your picking hand and patience. I tried my very best to get this as close as possible to the original recording, but the acoustic guitars will always lack in that department. The intro is played on a classical guitar, which I do not own, and the main verse guitars almost sound like a 12 string type guitar was used, although this is a debate of many on this subject. I just played it as I hear it and hopefully it satisfies the ears. The drums on my original video was WAAAAAAY out and when I listened to it the other day, I couldn't believe that I never did anything about it. Those China hits was overpowering loud (and out of place) and the fills weren't even close to correct. So I started from scratch and fine tuned everything from there.
Here's what I Fixed:
1: Correct tempo
2: Accurate drums
3: Real Bass
4: All guitar parts are included
5: Better guitar sounds
6: Better overall EQ
7: No more clipping
8: No fade out on the outro solo.
9: Smooth 50fps video for better viewing pleasure
As Always, I use custom guitar IR's to get the sound I need thanks to guitar hero and the people uploading the isolated tracks on the web.
Hope You Guys Enjoy This One
Cheers
